National Institute of Technology, Raipur (राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, रायपुर) is one of India’s 31 premier National Institutes of Technology. Founded in 1956 as the Government College of Mining & Metallurgy, it was upgraded to National Institute of Technology status in 2005 and recognized as an Institute of National Importance under the NIT Act, 2007. The Training and Placement (T&P) Cell at NIT Raipur goes beyond the conventional role of placement facilitation — it strives to shape students into industry-ready professionals through comprehensive training and development initiatives.
