About Trans|Form - Research Group Population, Environment, Development
The research group of Prof. Sakdapolrak and his team deals with population dynamics and they aim to understand and assess these dynamics in the context of environmental changes and development processes. The focus of their research is the resilience of populations at the nexus of social and ecological risks. Through their research and teaching activities at the interface of population, environment and development, they aim to contribute to sustainable development and the improvement of the livelihood of vulnerable groups. At the moment they are working on projects in Thailand, Indonesia, Kenya, and Ethiopia.
