The Trans Language Primer is the largest online reference for language around gender and trans experiences with over 200 terms. It is a community resource that has been created and curated by nonbinary and trans people, with extra consultants (who are also trans) brought in to check specifically for racist and ableist bias.

Our latest update includes all the classic dictionary touches, e.g. parts of speech, conjugation, example sentences, as well as links to articles for additional context. It's also fully indexed. Our new website will allow us to host the Primer locally. We're hoping to translate the Primer into multiple languages soon. Our Spanish translation will be coming in 2022. We're looking towards publishing both physically and in downloadable formats such as epub for folks who use screen readers or who have limited data access
