The Transcendental Meditation (TM) technique is a personal meditation technique for inner peace and wellness developed by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. It is learned via a four-session TM course taught by certified instructors at locations across America and around the world. The technique is offered through Maharishi Foundation USA, a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization.
Over the past six years 500,000 full TM course scholarships have been awarded worldwide to heal traumatic stress and raise performance in at-risk populations.
