This is a part-time remote role for a Transcriptionist. The Transcriptionist will be responsible for transcribing audio and video recordings accurately and efficiently, ensuring that transcriptions are completed in a timely manner and adhering to company quality standards. The Transcriptionist will also edit and proofread transcriptions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all project goals are met.
Excellent typing skills with an ability to type at least 60 wpm
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a proven track record of error-free work
Excellent knowledge of grammar, spelling, vocabulary and punctuation
Experience with transcription software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
Knowledge of medical and legal terminology is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent
