TRANSDEM Lab

The Laboratory of Transport and Decision Making Sciences (TransDeM) of the University of the Aegean is a university wide initiative that brings together the best transport teaching and research. Its activities build on the full spectrum of work across the transport sciences, ranging from transport engineering and economics to transport psychology and behavioral change studies. TransDeM objectives include: • To distinguish itself through excellent research of international standing and the strength of its links and expertise. At the TransDeM thinking, research, teaching and practice that are critical, creative, independent and interdisciplinary are encouraged. • To experiment with new methods of research across disciplinary boundaries, practices and professions, providing a laboratory for cross- and interdisciplinary invention, because difficult transportation challenges demand new modes of collaboration. • To collaborate with local, regional and national authorities, international universities and research institutions, companies.
