Transforming Fragilities, Inc.

TFI is a local NGO based in Cotabato City. It provides research, monitoring and evaluation, learning, as well as organizational development and community capability building support services to peacebuilding, humanitarian and development organizations. Its operational coverage is the whole of Mindanao, with selected provinces in Visayas and Luzon. It was founded in December 2018 and, as of March 2021 has a portfolio of: 1. 9 provinces in Mindanao and Luzon 2. Over 5,500 survey respondents engaged 3. Over 100 focus group discussions facilitated 4. About 250 key informant interviews conducted 5. 56 participatory exercises facilitated 6. Signed an aggregate contract value of over P8.7 million from ten past and current evaluation and research partners 7. Seven evaluation and research partners engaged TFI boasts of: 1. A standing pool of thematic experts, each one an experienced and reputed researcher, evaluator, facilitator in his/her own right, with expertise and specialization in: a. peacebuilding and conflict transformation b. civic participation and participatory governance c. education d. gender, women empowerment and rights, and sexual reproductive health e. data and information management f. child protection and child rights g. humanitarian protection and humanitarian response 2. A standing pool of field researchers (survey enumerators, KII interviewers, FGD facilitators, and documenters) in the 8 provinces.
