Transit TV is a wireless cutting edge media delivery system. Programming and advertising are transmitted via
the Internet to wireless hotspots which transmit the information to the vehicles. On-board computers known as “media engines” store the programming and advertising. A timestamp accompanies each segment of media
informing the media engine when to play it. The LCD screens and speakers are driven by the media engine.
Each LCD screen has been specifically designed for the transit environment. Performance Programming and advertising play at the same time across all the vehicles in the market However, if one vehicle encounters a difficulty it has no effect on any of the other vehicles Transit TV achieves a minimum of 95% uptime of its vehicles.
