Media Delivery - Los Angeles METRO Bus System Transit TV is a wireless cutting edge media delivery system. Programming and advertising are transmitted via the Internet to wireless hotspots which transmit the information to the vehicles. On-board computers known as “media engines” store the programming and advertising. A timestamp accompanies each segment of media informing the media engine when to play it. The LCD screens and speakers are driven by the media engine. Each LCD screen has been specifically designed for the transit environment.
