Our goal is to identify new anti-epilepsy drugs.
We are a group of individuals with expertise in drug discovery and development, and a commitment to identifying new anti-epileptic drugs. Many people in the network have children or other close family members with refractory epilepsy.
1. We work with pharmaceutical companies to reposition existing drugs for possible use in epilepsy.
2. We help with the process of out-licensing promising compounds to companies interested in pursuing them for epilepsy.
3. We help set up collaborations between industry and academic research groups.
4. We help startup companies obtain VC/Angel funding.
The network includes pharmaceutical industry professionals with experience in discovering and developing new drugs, as well as individuals with expertise in regulatory affairs, finance, business development, IP, venture capital, etc.
