Transmadrid

Transmadrid is a pioneering company in enabling business relationships between Spanish and Croatian markets. Originally founded in 1959, the mother company Transmadrid S.A. undertook the first trading projects between Spain and ex-Yugoslavia. During the 50 years of business by this company based in Madrid, the company enabled numerous successful projects where Spanish and regional (ex-Yugoslavian) companies benefited from foreign investments, transfer of know-how, foreign trade, international project finance and cultural exchange. Acting as consulting agent, Transmadrid capacitated projects and deals across sectors, filling the market gaps and building bridges between Spain and the region, most notably in: energy, railway, shipbuilding, automotive, tourism, waste management and many others. Today, the daughter company Transmadrid d.o.o. based in Zagreb, Croatia, draws on the experience of 2 successful generations inside the family and provides a holistic support to Spanish companies without a base in Croatia, by acting as their local agent in facilitating, coordinating and supervising trade projects.
