Transmedia NZ is a non-profit organisation that supports the ongoing development of New Zealand’s Transmedia production community, creating opportunities for collaboration and innovation, and the sharing of knowledge and ideas. Our Activities Transmedia NZ Online An online community hub that provides regular news on Transmedia related projects, events and opportunities in New Zealand and beyond. A forum for discussion, debate and sharing via Facebook and Twitter. A resource centre with links to local and international transmedia organisations, events, and materials. A fortnightly blog for The Big Idea (www.thebigidea.co.nz). Transmedia NZ workshops and seminars A programme of workshops and seminars which focus on professional development and best practice encompassing: Art & design Gaming Film & TV Libraries, museums, public works & education Mobile and locative media Music, dance & performance Social media, marketing, advertising
