Founded in 1908, Trans-Ocean is one of the oldest and most respected rug importers in the country. As the rug industry’s fashion leader, the company carries a full line of Casual, Lifestyle and Traditional imported rugs – hand knotted, hand hooked, hand tufted, and had woven rugs from China and India; as well as Wilton Woven machine made rugs from Turkey and India.
Trans-Ocean’s large assortment consists of programmed collections which retail from moderate to better price points. Every rug in the assortment is designed, colored, and styled for the American market by our award winning designer, Liora Manne, and inventoried in a wide variety of sizes at our fulfillment center in Virginia.
