Transparency Maldives is a non-partisan organization that promotes collaboration, awareness and other initiatives to improve governance and eliminate corruption from the daily lives of people. Our organization is the National Contact of Transparency International (TI) in the Maldives. We received formal registration from the Ministry of Home Affairs on 19 July 2007.
Vision: Transparency Maldives envisions a Maldives in which government, politics, business, civil society, and the daily lives of all people shall be free from corruption.
Mission: Transparency Maldives strives to act as catalyst for reforms that improve transparency and accountability in all sectors; raise public awareness of and initiate public discussion on corruption and its detrimental effects on society and development; and collaborate with individuals and groups from government, businesses, media, and civil society, among others, in the fight against corruption.
Values: Transparency Maldives values transparency, accountability, integrity, solidarity, courage, justice, and democracy.
