As a dedicated advocate for health, mental health, patient, and transgender rights, I bring over 30 years of experience to TransPARENT. My story is enriched by personal and educational dimensions, including being the mom of a trans son, which makes me a trusted guide on various critical subjects.
Having endured and triumphed over domestic violence and childhood/teenage SA, I am equipped to guide others to empowerment and self-expression. With a degree in health advocacy and a profound understanding of mental health, I've transformed my 36-year battle with depression and suicidal ideation, and I'm passionate about helping others find their way to healing.
As a neurodivergent individual who has raised 3 neurodivergent children, 2 with varying degrees of autism spectrum disorders, I have a deep understanding of these unique experiences. I'm proud to share my insights in this area, drawing from my formal education and personal life.
Additionally, as a cervical cancer survivor and a dedicated caretaker for my father during his cancer journey, I offer a unique perspective on cancer and the challenges caregivers face. In women's reproductive health rights, my education and personal experiences with abortion have driven me to advocate passionately for bodily autonomy and equitable access.
I offer services to guide parents of trans and gender-diverse children as they navigate from confusion to clarity and acceptance; to empower survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and trauma to heal; and to help those in need of rediscovering their voice to freedom, soar. My work revolves around the core principles of bodily autonomy and personal choice, and my mission is to guide others in healing, growth, and effective communication.
I firmly believe in transparency, and my commitment to speaking truth and embracing vulnerability shines through in all I do. I’m here to help you and your loved ones move forward and flourish, no matter the challenges you've faced in the past.
