TRASHEROES

TRASHEROES leads the change towards a more sustainable life in Tanzanian communities by providing them with sustainable solutions of waste disposal. We are working towards this goal by educating the local population on sustainable waste management and responsible consumption through workshops that we conduct in schools, universities, and at community meetings. Additionally, we set up stationary waste containers in strategic locations to avoid unconscious littering of non-degradable materials. As we strongly believe in the premise to help people help themselves, the members of the community are at the core of our daily work. Since we are a nonprofit organization, we rely on external funding and volunteers to make a change and improve the living conditions of many people in Tanzania.
