Travis County Emergency Services District #1

Serving the North Lake Travis area of Travis County including the cities of Lago Vista, Jonestown, and The Village of Point Venture. Travis County Emergency Services District #1 is dedicated to provide the highest level of services through an aggressive fire control system, an integrated pre-hospital care system, fire prevention, public education, and emergency management. To accomplish our mission we provide suppression and prevention programs, a state of the art pre-hospital care system, and effective incident management. We also stand ready to support and assist other fire service organizations in accomplishing their missions. All of our members are important assets in the actualization of our mission and play a vital role within the department and community. Each member carries the responsibility to express our department's core values in their daily work. Travis County ESD #1 covers 178 sq. miles of Travis County from the Cedar Park City Limits on the east, to the Burnet County Line on the west and the Williamson County Line on the north. The southern boundary is Lake Travis where we are responsible over 40 miles of shoreline around the lake. There are three fully staffed fire stations strategically placed throughout the district. These three stations (Station 102, Station 103 and Station 104) are staffed by full time paid Firefighter/EMT's and Firefighter/Paramedics that work a rotating schedule of 48 hours on duty and 96 hours off duty.
