Our goal is for a Treat Accessibly lawn sign at 400,000 homes in Canada by 2025 and 4 million homes in the U.S. by 2027. One home for every child in North America that identifies with a disability.
Born from a simple act of kindness in 2017, Treat Accessibly is a grassroots movement dedicated to making Halloween inclusive for every child. When the Padulo family realized their home's stairs prevented a neighbor in a wheelchair from trick-or-treating, they relocated their station, sparking the idea for Treat Accessibly.
Today, over 100,000 Canadian homes proudly display our lawn sign, showcasing their commitment to accessible trick-or-treating. We're a testament to the power of community collaboration, proving that ordinary families can work with the private sector, non-profits, and government to create meaningful change.
