Tree Garden Capital LP is an Israeli-fundamental based long-short equity hedge fund. The fund focuses on Israeli companies in the industries of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical devices, and is an Israeli Limited Partnership. Tree Garden Capital is based on fundamental and research driven Bottom-Up analysis of companies, which emphasizes implications of different scenarios on companies' intrinsic value. Position building is based on in-depth analysis, while focusing on the resiliency of the business model, the quality of the management and the characters of the "Go-To" markets. The fund allocates substantial parts of its portfolio towards assets from the pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical devices industries – areas with huge potential together with high importance to selectivity. The fund has a strict risk management policy that includes limitation in liquidity, leverage, maximum holdings in positions and more. The fund uses financial derivatives in order to further minimize risk, decrease correlations between positions and to take advantage of asymmetry in asset prices in the markets.
