Treetops Capital is a fund management and financial advisory company dedicated to solving social and environmental challenges through market-based solutions. Treetops Capital and its affiliate companies are currently involved in three primary areas of Impact Investing: Microfinance: Treetops co-manages the $27 MM Gawa Fund, which invests in microfinance institutions and small and medium enterprise (SME)-lending financial institutions that serve under-banked communities in Latin America, Asia, and Africa. Green affordable housing: Treetops’ Eastern European based affiliate, RPF Development, invests in and develops affordable housing projects in emerging markets. RPF incorporates cost-effective, green design components and technologies that make our projects more environmentally sustainable and increase cost savings to our residents and investors. Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Finance: The Treetops partners have experience investing in emerging market SMEs, and are currently expanding operations to develop an investment platform that will invest directly in Eastern European SMEs.
