Our lifelong passion for cats began in childhood, driven by a deep desire to help those we found wandering the streets alone. Our formal mission started in summer 2006 in Crimea, where we rescued our first two cats—a tomcat from Sudak and a she-cat from Dzhankoy. The she-cat flourished in a loving new home, while the tomcat became a cherished part of our family for 17 years, a testament to loyalty and affection. When we relocated to the countryside, we seized the chance to aid more street animals. In January 2014, we took a significant step by constructing a heated house from gas blocks on our property, specifically to shelter the animals we saved. This building became more than a sanctuary; it was a true home for them. Over time, we integrated our rescued cats fully into our lives by making our entire home open to them, ensuring they felt true belonging and warmth. Our journey is one of compassion, second chances, and the profound joy of helping our furry friends recover their spirit. It's a story marked by sleepless nights, emotional smiles, and tearful farewells. Yet, it's fundamentally about how our home evolved into a haven, which then grew into a vibrant community—a beacon of hope for every lost soul we encounter. Today, our sanctuary is alive with the sounds of countless cats who have found safety, love, and a renewed life with us. Every purr and paw-step marks a significant moment in our ongoing mission. From humble beginnings with just two compassionate hearts and a dream, our family now spans multiple species, bound by love and a collective belief in a world where no animal is left behind.
