Trekkers UK

Trekkers UK is a grassroots community organisation dedicated to improving the mental, physical, and social wellbeing of Black and other global majority individuals through nature connection and outdoor adventure. We are an inclusive group and if you support our mission (regardless of background) you are more than welcome to join us. Grounded in the Five Ways to Wellness (Connect with and give to others, Be Active, Take Notice and Keep Learning) we create safe and inclusive spaces for underrepresented communities from inner-city areas of the West and East Midlands to access and experience the healing benefits of nature. By breaking down barriers to outdoor participation, we not only promote diversity but also foster confidence, resilience, and provide culturally sensitive nature- based solutions to improving mental wellness. We are reshaping the conversations around mental health and the great outdoors.
