Our (Trekking Compass) journey began with a single step or rather, an unexpected turn. After working as a project manager in Chandigarh, family ties pulled our founder back to Dehradun in 2018. It wasn’t long before the mountains began calling. As if guided by fate, he found himself lost in the witchery of trekking expeditions, exploring nature's beauty—RAW and UNTOUCHED. It started with a 50 km trek from Kapkot in the Kumaon range into the Garhwal range—no mules, no porters—just a backpack, a compass, and a spirit; unwavering and determined. This trek, completed entirely on foot, sparked something deep within. It wasn't just about reaching the summit; it was about finding the courage to carry everything, literally and metaphorically, along the way. So, why the name 'Trekking Compass'? Well, we've got the experience and the know-how. Our team is one of the mountaineers trained at NIM (Nehru Institute of Mountaineering) and certified in Search and Rescue (S&R). Registered under Uttarakhand Tourism, we're not just any trekking company—we're your reliable guide in the wilderness. And in 2024, we became an ATOAI-certified member, a badge that symbolizes our commitment to safety, adventure, and professionalism.
