As of 2012, Treksta, Inc has around 2,000 employees and distributes its products in more than 25 Countries. Treksta, Inc. founder Dong Chil Kwon established Dong Ho, Ltd in 1988.8.8. In 1991, changed the company name to Sung Ho, Co. In 1993, Sung Ho Co. started to manufacture and develop K2 in-line skates. In 1994, Sung Ho Co. created its own brand 'Treksta'. In December 1997, launched second line 'Leisure Time.' In 2004, launched Treksta Apparel. In 2005, created its own outsole brand 'Hypergrip' In 2007, combined all the company under 'Treksta. Inc Treksta is known for its innovation and leading technology in footwear. 1995, Treksta developed the first soft inline skate boots with K2. 1999, Treksta developed ‘Digital Shoe’ line that allowed customers to scan their feet to make custom made shoes. 2005, Treksta developed 'Independent Suspension Technology'(IST) concept from the car system. 2006, Treksta developed 'IceLock technology' for Hypergrip using glassfiber and special rubber compound. 2010, Treksta developed 'nest FIT' technology.
