Tri-State Light & Energy, Inc. (TSLE) brings four decades of design-build experience from lighting upgrades to comprehensive facility measures. We work directly with small, medium, and large commercial, industrial, and institutional end-users in the Tri-State area. We also work extensively with ESCOs and the MEP community. In addition, we provide program delivery and implementation services for state-wide energy efficiency programs and public electric utility incentive offerings including PSE&G’s Direct Install program and New Jersey BPU’s Clean Energy Direct Install. In our capacity as a design-build firm we audit, recommend and install lighting and HVAC upgrade measures, including construction administration and commissioning services. We are considered one of our region's leading energy efficient lighting control firms, with deep experience in occupancy sensor, photo control and dimmable/addressable networked lighting control systems. Unlike traditional contracting organizations that often respond to “plans and specs” developed by others, our business model is centered on first understanding the end-user’s existing energy situation, then developing recommendations to improve efficiencies and, finally, installing those measures. Over the past four decades we have performed thousands of energy audits, energy analyses, and installations in public and private commercial, industrial and institutional facilities. In New Jersey, Tri-State Light & Energy is DPMC Classified for construction. Our Engineering division includes Professional Engineers (PE) to provide integrated design services for our clients.
