The Tri-Valley Anti-Poverty Collaborative is a cross-sector collaboration formed to address issues of hidden poverty in the Tri-Valley Area.
It was launched in late 2013 led by a small collaborative of organizations including Kaiser Permanente (Diablo Area Community Benefit), the East Bay Leadership Council, the East Bay Community Foundation, and Hacienda Helping Hands (the community initiative of Hacienda, one of the largest business parks in the US).
Representatives of these organizations began a conversation about how they might work together to elevate the issue of the hidden poverty in one of the most affluent areas of the country and create a platform for collaborative action in the region.
