TRIANGLE

TRIANGLE is a pan-European initiative designed to elevate Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) into engines of innovation, entrepreneurship, and societal impact. It aligns with the EIT HEI Initiative’s strategic objectives by integrating academia, research, and business—the core of the Knowledge Triangle—to accelerate the commercialisation of academic knowledge, foster startup creation, and address critical European challenges. TRIANGLE seeks to: 1) Enhance knowledge and talent exchange: Ties among HEIs, industry, and innovation ecosystems will be strengthened, ensuring a seamless flow of ideas and skills. 2) Develop entrepreneurial competences: Students, researchers, and faculty will be equipped with digital, entrepreneurial, and sustainability-focused expertise, enabling them to transform academic research into viable market solutions. 3) Boost entrepreneurial ecosystems: TRIANGLE will support startup formation, scaling ventures, and integrating underrepresented regions into a cohesive, EU-wide innovation landscape.
