TRansplant and Infectious disease Biobank and rEgistry (TRIBE) is the first centralised clinical data and biospecimen repositories for the storage of linked clinical data and biospecimens in organ transplantation in Australia.
TRIBE aims to improve transplant outcomes by providing clinicians and medical researchers access to a registry of transplant-related clinical information linked with biological samples (e.g. blood).
TRIBE is a collaboration between infectious diseases and transplant groups across Australia, the Australian Donation and Transplantation Biobank (ADTB) and DonateLife Victoria (DLV). TRIBE sits within the Department of Infectious Diseases and Immunology, Austin Health, and is supported by the Australian Centre for Transplant Excellence and Research (ACTER) and the Department of Infectious Diseases, University of Melbourne.
