Who are Tribute?
Tribute is a Dutch based foundation which promotes the use of alternative dispute resolution in international tax disputes. It begun as an initiative of 30 tax dispute specialists and continues growing. Supported by leading international tax experts, academics, and government representatives and led by an international board of 6.
What does Tribute do?
Works in close cooperation with the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague (https://pca-cpa.org/en/home);
Manages a list of independent recognized international tax experts available as arbitrator/expert;
Manages a list of independent mediators/facilitators;
Provides information about ITDR;
Provides training to tax lawyers/accountants;
Provides training to mediators/facilitators;
Manages a Tribute community to share developments;
Promotes academic research.
Services that members of the Tribute community provide:
Advice about solving cross border tax disputes ;
Co-ordination of the process of solving cross border tax disputes (for tax payers and governments).
