Tricycle: The Buddhist Review

Tricycle: The Buddhist Review company information, Employees & Contact Information

Established in 1990 as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization, The Tricycle Foundation is dedicated to making Buddhist teachings and practices broadly available. In 1991 the Foundation launched Tricycle: The Buddhist Review, the first magazine intended to present Buddhist perspectives to a Western readership. Tricycle soon became the leading independent journal of Buddhism in the West, where it continues to be the most inclusive and widely read vehicle for the dissemination of Buddhist views and values. Our readership includes longtime practitioners, those who are curious about Buddhism or meditation, and those who do not identify as Buddhist but value the teachings of wisdom and compassion that Buddhism has to offer. Tricycle has been recognized with the prestigious Folio Award for Best Spiritual Magazine three times, and has twice garnered the Utne Media Award. Tricycle: The Buddhist Review is a print and digital magazine dedicated to making Buddhist teachings and practices broadly available. Tricycle also offers monthly spiritual films online, podcasts with leading Buddhist voices, monthly dharma talk videos, and a variety of online courses with expert teachers. Founded in 1991, Tricycle is one of the leading sources of Buddhist perspectives in the western world. The editorial spans a broad spectrum of topics, including but not limited to philosophical tenets, historical analysis, contemporary issues, and cultural commentary, all seen through the lens of Buddhist teachings and practices. Tricycle's approach provides a comprehensive view of Buddhism, beyond cultural and regional boundaries. Readers can explore a plethora of teachings, from Theravada to Mahayana, Zen to Vajrayana, and beyond. Start your morning off on a positive note with a quick hit of Buddhist wisdom, click the link on our profile, or go to to: https://tricy.cl/3MdVrzn
