Founded in 2015, Trill is an independent media platform where emerging voices develop the skills, confidence, and reach to shape journalism’s future. We exist to fill a critical gap: too many talented storytellers are shut out of legacy media due to systemic barriers, lack of access, or commercial gatekeeping. At Trill, we provide an inclusive space for new writers, journalists, and creatives to publish original work that drives conversation and challenges convention. Our editorial model centers on mentorship, freedom from corporate influence, and rigorous creative development. We are proudly non-profit and a member of the national body SPA Journalism in the UK. Our mission isn’t scale; it’s impact. Every contributor receives hands-on support, professional growth opportunities, and a chance to collaborate within a global peer network. Unlike platforms that chase clicks or cater to algorithms, we prioritize depth, integrity, and authenticity.
