Trimat is a North Carolina Minority Owned Company that was founded in 2004 by Simine Regimand, where she has had an integral part of the company’s success. With her many years of experience in the industry, we have had the opportunity to be involved in cutting edge research and some of the largest construction projects in North Carolina.
The company began with a focus on asphalt research by performing laboratory testing, Superpave and Marshall Mix designs, and roadway inspections. As Trimat has grown, we have added additional services so that we can facilitate the construction industry in and around North Carolina. We now provide research, laboratory and field testing, inspection and consultation for universities and the construction industry of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. We have expanded our testing and inspection services to include soils, concrete, structures, masonry, and geotechnical drilling.
We have a full service AASHTO Accredited lab located in Research Triangle Park, NC minutes from the Raleigh Durham International airport with state of the art equipment, knowledge and experience to perform all levels of materials testing. We are fully skilled in the applicable AASHTO and ASTM test methods. Our employees are experienced and professional and have certifications from NICET, ICC, ACI and the NCDOT.
