Triple “A” Marine Risks Ltd was founded in 2016 by Mr. Kiriakos Zaharakis, former Marine Manager in Greece of Marsh LLC Marine Department. Mr. Zaharakis is a highly regarded professional in the maritime and insurance brokerage industry. He started back in 1987, as a young Insurance Manager of a ship-management company. He then moved into insurance broking and in 1998 Mr. Zaharakis enhanced the Marine Department of Marsh LLC in Athens, Greece.
By the time Mr. Zaharakis departure from Marsh LLC, Athens, a high quality portfolio consisting of Greek shipping and ship-management companies, had been developed.
The team of Triple “A” Marine Risks Ltd consists of seven (7) dedicated and well regarded marine insurance professionals, with a combined experience in the maritime and insurance broking sector of more than one hundred (100) years. The team has already worked and collaborated together for more than ten (10) years. As a result, all team members share the same values and ideals in servicing the evolving needs of our clients from “A” to “Z” with transparency, honesty, creativity and decisiveness.
The clientele of Triple “A” Marine Risks Ltd consists mainly of Greek shipping and ship-management companies.
