It is common for older adults to feel isolated and lonely. This program leverages existing Big Brother Big Sister pairs to create an intergenerational trio with a senior. These pairs will visit the senior once a month and call weekly to check-in during non-visitation weeks.
The Intergenerational relationship will provide a powerful setting for the older adult to not only benefit from the social interaction and various activities, but they can also impart their wisdom and knowledge to their younger companions.
