Our commitment lies in handcrafting spirits from grain to glass, all proudly within Maryland. We meticulously select only the finest ingredients, sourced either from our own farm or from local Maryland farmers, blended with pure spring water drawn from nearby springs and mountain ranges. The tale of Trippy Goat was started by Marc Potash, driven by a desire to embark on a journey of passion and authenticity by establishing a craft distillery. With a familial heritage spanning four generations in the spirits realm, their roots run deep. His love for Maryland's natural beauty and the allure of fine whiskey led him down the path of whiskey craftsmanship. Little did he anticipate that inheriting his great grandfather’s Vodka Still would set them on the course to operate Maryland's largest distillery. From this vision, Trippy Goat was born. Together with Master Distiller Blake Belluschi, they meticulously crafted recipes for an exceptionally smooth and flavorful American Bourbon Whiskey and Maryland Rye, leveraging the bounty of his farm and the surrounding mountains to produce America's finest spirits.
