Tripshare creates tools for collaborative travel planning. We're the best way to plan travel when you need input and/or approval from other people.
Our first product, an iPad app, was introduced into the iTunes App Store in July 2012. We've been featured as New & Noteworthy by iTunes four times and crossed 20,000 downloads in May, 2013.
On May 16, 2013 we introduced Tripshare v2.0 and launched the company publicly.
Our product enables users to combine the four critical steps necessary for true collaboration in travel planning:
1. Search for hotels, flights, activities, and restaurants
2. Create and edit a draft itinerary
3. Share the itinerary with friends, family, and colleagues, and get feedback
4. Book the trip.
We partner with best-of-breed aggregators including Expedia Affiliate Network for hotels, Fly.com for flights, and Viator for tours and activities. Our trip creation capability is worldwide (for U.S. originating travelers).
We plan to extend our service to the web and smartphone platforms in 2013.
