Tripsianes group is an international Research Group at the Department of Structural Biology, Central European Institute of Technology (CEITEC), Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. We explore and synthesize ideas and techniques from fields as diverse as biochemistry, molecular biophysics and computer science to gain a greater understanding of molecular recognition mechanisms associated with human health (hereditary diseases, cancer, aging). We collaborate with scientists from other disciplines to make connections among function, cellular phenotypes, and disease pathophysiology. We use structure-based virtual screening, scaffold optimization procedures, and MD simulations with the objective of developing inhibitors for important targets in cancer therapy. Finally, we develop new tools and software to expedite NMR structure determination and facilitate the integration of NMR data to synergistic approaches.
