Republican Scientific and Methodological Center for the Development of Education

The Republican Scientific and Methodological Center for the Development of Education was established by Decree No. PD-128 of the President of Uzbekistan on April 24, 2023 to enhance education quality, introduce innovative pedagogical technologies, improve teaching methodologies, and develop educational standards. The Center is responsible for developing and approving educational standards, curricula, and programs for preschool, general secondary, extracurricular education institutions, and private courses. It ensures education quality monitoring, textbook development, piloting, and expert assessment. It also focuses on training, retraining, and professional development of educational leaders and teachers, implementing advanced teaching methods, and integrating international best practices. The Center plays a key role in assessing educational institutions, aligning students' knowledge with national and global standards, and conducting international research initiatives. It also collaborates with state authorities in accreditation, licensing, and attestation of educational institutions. Through strategic initiatives, the Center advances educational reforms, supports teachers' professional growth, and enhances education system efficiency. Operating under the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, it contributes to the modernization and innovation-driven transformation of the national education system.
