Troitsk Worsted Factory is one of the oldest textile factory in Russia. The factory was founded by the Moscow merchant A.P. Prokhorov in 1797. In 1865 it was a cotton-spinning facility.
Until 1976 the factory had been producing broadcloth. After than the plant was redirected to production of rake sliver combing. Since 1990s the plant started producing fingering yarn and machine knitting yarn, as well as worsted cloth production.
Today "Troitsk Worsted Factory"JSC have become the leader of Russian textile industry in fingering yarn and machine knitting yarn production, as well as various kinds of combed sliver (top). Besides that, the factory produces blankets with wool and artificial materials filling. Having its own producers in various regions of Russia, the factory sells and buys animal wool in large quantities.
The factory possesses modern and highly effective equipment from the leading producers.
There are two laboratories on the territory of the plant: for blankets with wool filling and blankets with artificial materials filling.
The major raw material used at our manufacturing plant is home produced or imported fleece, cotton, flax, viscose, acryl, lavsan, nylon, camel hair, goat underwool, alpaca, mohair. We produce goods intended for midrange customers preferring modern and fashionable yarn of excellent quality. We do our best to produce yarn for comfortable, beautiful, light and warm clothes. Hight quality colorants and chemicals used in the process of yarn colouring allow producing yarn with rich colour palette.
