Trolley:Motion

trolley:motion is the leading European trolleybus interest group. It constitutes part of a wide trolleybus community and has well established contacts to relevant ebus actors such as trolleybus cities, industrial manufacturers and transport operators. Due to the wide network of public and private ebus stakeholders and its self-sustaining and independent organizational framework as a non-profit interest group, the involvement of trolley:motion offers great potential for the successful knowledge transfer of project results and general output. trolley:motion will play a valuable role in terms of European and global dissemination, also beyond the actual lifetime of the project. Presently, trolley:motion is establishing an open-access trolleybus library and the European Trolleybus Knowledge Centre, which includes ebus information resources as well. Through these and other activities, Trolley:motion will contribute to the communication and dissemination of the project results. This will include newsletters (more 5000 contacts worldwide) and messages on internet fora, reports in technical magazines, workshops and round table talks, media contacts and press releases, activities at international fairs, stimulation of decision-making processes and the provision of support to decision makers. The industry members of trolley:motion (Carosserie HESS AG, Dialogika, Traktionssysteme Austria, TÜV Süd, Kummler+Matter AG, Kruch Railway Innovaitons, Furrer+ Frey AG, Pre power Developer, Rupprecht Consult) will participate in project events or workshops and contribute their industry know-how about clean vehicles, thus enabling detailed discussions and direct exchanges with project partners.
