Troops In Transition, Inc.

We are a non-profit dedicated to assisting Veterans, Spouses and the at-risk community in discovering their meaningful career focused occupation. We strive to make our community a better place by tearing down the silos for Veterans to receive resources and properly transition into the civilian life. West Michigan has so many great organizations available to our Vets. We are not an end-all-be-all to the Veterans. We are partnering with other NPO resources, For Profit Companies, and the Community to provide the resources necessary. We provide a career counselor to each person that comes through our doors. They will receive help in career planning, interview prepping, job placement. Once they are placed in their meaningful position, we will continue communicating with them and the hiring manager to help bridge any communication gap that might exist. We are also advocates to companies to inform them that Veterans are not fragile and broken. The negative perceptions that may exist are not the true personifications of the Veteran workforce. Our desire is to see Veterans work into the leadership roles within companies and fulfill a purpose driven career.
