The Therapeutic Riding Association of Ottawa-Carleton (TROtt) is a registered charity dedicated to providing a transformative experience for children and adults living with disabilities. Here at TROtt, we create a vibrant and enriching environment where individuals not only have a fantastic time but also reap the extensive physical, mental, and cognitive advantages that come from engaging in evidence-based horse-related activities.
Our unique blend of sport, therapy, learning, and fun converges within our welcoming and stimulating setting. With the unwavering support of our specially trained horses and a devoted team of over 100 volunteers, our certified staff deliver accessible and inclusive riding programs, both mounted and non-mounted, tailored to meet the diverse needs of individuals with a wide range of physical, mental, developmental, and learning disabilities.
TROtt proudly stands as the sole therapeutic riding center in the Ottawa region accredited by the Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association, setting the highest national practice standards in our field.
