Turkish Oracle User Group (TROUG) was founded in 2010 to promote collaboration among members, and facilitate the better use of Oracle products. TROUG has been recognized by the International Oracle Users Group Community, and it is the first Oracle User Group in Turkey. TROUG aims to develop relationships between Oracle Partners, consultants, academics, students who plan to build his/her career on Oracle products, new graduates, and for anyone who interested in Oracle.
The mission of TROUG is:

- Ensuring continuous relationship and effective information sharing by maintaining web portals
- Delivering Oracle user demands to Oracle Corporation
- Providing discounts in national / international publishers and Authorized Oracle Training centers.
- Being a communication bridge between Turkish User Group and International User Groups
- Sharing career oppotunities and sector news.
TROUG is completely a non-profit and an independent group, has no commercial or financial concerns. It is working with the voluntary basis.
