At Tru-size we use generative AI together with massive proprietary datasets to create (virtual) manequins true to any demographic group you choose. This enables designers and manufacturers to evaluate the fit of a garment on their specific target group. Our clients produce clothes that fit better - driving customer loyalty, reducing returns and waste. 92% of UK population cannot find clothes that fit them properly (Kantar). The issue comes from the fact that garments are only fit-tested on mannequins which reflect catwalk models and not real people. Furthermore, most of the industry has now moved onto virtual fittings using virtual mannequins only - something we see as an opportunity.
