True North was registered in the year 2017, being the only non-profit organization in Kenya, East Africa, with military veterans as the primary target. True North’s vision is to ensure extended life expectancy and improvement of life experience for veterans. Its mission is to continue leading the way through action to pay our military veterans back for their service by progressively adapting Mental Health Care programs that cater to the needs of military veterans and their families. Whilst embedded in the context of Psychology and mental health, The True North Cradle model has a bio-psycho-socio-spiritual-legal-economic and advocacy lens, which centers cultural-specific interventions.
