In June 2017, TrunkTech was founded and invested by iFLYTEK (SZ 002230). TrunkTech is an autonomous driving technology and service provider, which is dedicated to the industrialization of level 4 autonomous driving and applicationS in ports, mine sites, and industrial parks. We provide customization of autonomous driving solutions based on the application environment analysis to ensure that our service will fulfill the needs of our clients and the operating environment. We are targeting to help our clients to increase their productivity and safety and lower their cost. TrunkTech's research team includes experts in perception, decision making, planning and control areas from Google, Baidu, MSRA and Tesla etc. And TrunkTech is TB/T3027 and ISO26262 certified. In August 2017, TrunkTech cooperated with German Max Planck Institute (MPI) and proposed the autonomous driving 3D sensing evaluation criteria under KITTI, which is a top autonomous driving sensing evaluation benchmark. In December 2017, TrunkTech signed a contract with Port Tianjing to launch China's first autonomous container transportation project with a loading capacity of 40 tons per truck. In April 2018, a TrunkTech designed self-driving electrical truck started test run in Port Tianjing. And TrunkTech was elected into Bosch-PlayAndPlug Accelerator.
