Truthsprout is a non-profit global organisation focused on Sustainable Development Goals 17, 8 & 4 of United Nations Development Programme. Truthsprout grows and enables MSMEs, promotes social innovation and entrepreneurship, trains undergraduates on relevant employable skills as well as fosters economic policies through thorough economic researches by a team of experts. Truthsprout was founded in January, 2018 and was formally incorporated in July, 2021 as a Company Limited by Guarantee under the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission (RC 1821374). It was founded by Dr. Victor Akaeze  with the support of passionate and impact driven individuals and leading private sector leaders committed to fostering economic growth globally. Dr. Victor Akaeze remains very active in leading the Board of Directors to deliver on the organisation’s mission and objectives. Within the space of 4 years, Truthsprout  has inspired and equipped changemakers, social innovators and entrepreneurs to  build a better economy. Truthsprout is  committed to building a generation of global social innovators, career persons, entrepreneurs  and changemakers  who will transform their communities, and enterprises; as well as sustaining and contributing to global and national development. Truthsprout achieves this through its training programmes, conferences, publications, and community projects.  MISSION : To connect, build, and develop career persons, entrepreneurs, social innovators, and changemakers for global economic transformation. As well as inspire, empower and equip a new breed of global leaders by providing the skills and tools for personal, organizational and community transformation. VISION: To be known as the leading organisation for connecting, developing and building young career persons, leaders, entrepreneurs, social innovators, and changemakers who will drive the global realization of a desirable economy that serves the good of all. PRESENCE : Nigeria and Ghana. FOCUS AREA -ACET + AGRICULTURE PROJECT: AGROCELERATOR The Agrocelerator programme by Truthsprout targets agribusiness entrepreneurs  who are looking to accelerate their businesses, expand their market reach and attract potential investors and partners. The programme involves  bootcamps, interactive workshops, consulting sessions, business support services, one-on-one and group mentoring sessions with a team of seasoned sector faculty members and advisors. CAREER PROJECT: JOBCOURIER Jobcourier by Truthsprout focuses on providing opportunities for decent jobs. This is achieved by building and equipping graduates, undergraduates and young professionals with relevant skills, and connecting  qualified ones  to their desired jobs. We try to bridge the gap between talent and opportunities thereby reducing unemployment and growing the economy. ENTREPRENEURSHIP ( Enterprise building ) PROJECTS: INOVATE! AFRICA SUMMIT (IAS) An annual social innovation and entrepreneurship programme that bring together young social innovators and entrepreneurs around Africa. The event holds in different African countries with delegates representing from other countries. This is to foster cross-cultural experiences and strengthen collaboration among  countries. The summit focuses on how young innovators and entrepreneurs could transform Africa's economy by creating solutions through agriculture, career, entrepreneurship, technology leadership and health. SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS INCUBATION PROGRAMME (SBIP) Targets young aspiring entrepreneurs. It provides them with necessary knowledge  through tailored training curriculum from our experts that would help them start their journeys as entrepreneurs. BUDDING ENTREPRENEURS PROGRAMME (BEP) Targets entrepreneurs who have left the start phase of their business, but wants to grow and expand. They are connected with Truthsprout business experts and seasoned faculties who mentor and guide them through the growth phase. BUSINESS LEAP PROGRAMME (BLP) Targets entrepreneurs who want to go global and establish  their business presence in other countries. TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS: TECHCOCOON Truthsprout Techcocoon is an acceleration and incubation hub to brood next generation of tech giants in Africa and beyond. PLUS(+) LEADERSHIP PROJECTS: CHANGEMAKERS CLINIC (CMC) Truthsprout changemakers clinic is both a virtual and physical programme organised for young people who wants to drive change in their communities. It provides participants with tools and resources to drive change and make impact. TRUTHSPROUT UNIVERSITY PROGRAMMES (TUP) A Truthsprout project that runs in the university. It's focus is to raise and inspire changemakers, social innovators and young leaders on campus. It creates awareness about Truthsprout goals of grooming young people in the Universities by training, skill development, Personal development and Career development using the ACET+ MODEL (Agriculture, Career, Entrepreneurship and Technology, Leadership and Health ). Essentially to create a community where young people can grow and develop themselves regardless of their course of study and societal status. We intend to create a safe haven for young people to interact and engage meaningfully with each other to be able to assess opportunities both within and outside Africa YOUCAN! (YC!) ( TUP PROJECT) A one week-long project that runs at different times  across all the universities where Truthsprout campus community exist globally. The purpose of the project is to inspire and equip a new generation of leaders, social innovators  and changemakers on campus through community service, awareness campaigns, career talk, seminars, networking and collaboration.
