The Problem We Are Solving:
Logistics has been the key driver of growth of global trade and internationalisation since the Second World War. Supply chains have undergone several evolutions over the last few decades to support the explosion of manufacturing and global trade. The processes and technologies to enable these supply chains though have not been able to keep pace with the interconnectedness and complexity brought upon by the internet and e-commerce revolution.
The logistics industry is highly fragmented, murky and incredibly inefficient, leading to soaring costs for users of the service. Lack of visibility into the flow of raw materials and finished goods through the supply chain makes it a struggle for supply chain managers to ensure the quality and integrity of the raw materials and finished goods as it passes through the chain. This leads to inefficient logistics operations, ever-increasing costs and poor customer service.
Our Solution:
The TRXX Network platform is purpose-built from the ground up, utilising the best of IoT and blockchain technologies to resolve the challenges faced by the global logistics industry of today. It is an end-to-end integrated solution that includes hardware, software, protocol layer, API interfaces and development tools.
All conditions for the supply chain finance, whether in-transit financing or post-shipment financing, will be triggered by the platform. Upon the completion of services, various service providers at the respective checkpoints within the supply chain will be paid instantly automatically with the TRXN tokens, instead of the usual months to verify the transactions and pay out. Post-shipment financing for the cargo shipped will be implemented at a later phase, replacing trade financing with a much more efficient, faster and fuss-free manner.
