“Tsilal” betekent “paraplu” in het Tigrinya. Het staat symbool voor beschutting, bescherming en samenhorigheid. Vanuit deze gedachte zet “Stichting Tsilal” zich in voor mensen met een migratieachtergrond – met name uit Eritrea en de Hoorn van Afrika – die in Nederland een nieuw bestaan willen opbouwen.
