T.S.V. 'Jan Pieter Minckelers' (Dutch: Technologische Studievereniging 'Jan Pieter Minckelers') is the study association of the Department Chemical Engineering and Chemistry of the Eindhoven University of Technology. The association is founded on 6 December 1957, short after the foundation of the university on 15 June 1956.
The goals of Japie (abbreviation for Jan Pieter Minckelers) are to: (1) Improve education together with the faculty, as well as offering all books and lab coats necessary for the curriculum. (2) Make it possible for members to personal develop in committees or during excursions to companies. (3) Offer a variety of social activities. Via these goals Japie aims to be at the service of the members.
