Founded in 2010 by undergraduates of Boğaziçi University, the Turkish Association of Translation and Interpreting Undergraduates (TÜÇEB) aims to raise awareness and educate through various initiatives. The association serves as a bridge between translation students and the academic community, as well as between students and the translation industry. One of the main goals is to identify current issues scientifically, thoroughly examine them through research committees, and activate all necessary channels and mechanisms to develop solutions. Its ultimate goal is to collaborate, disseminate translation and interpreting knowledge, and undertake joint projects with national and international institutions and organizations related to translation and interpreting studies. TÜÇEB is committed to fostering an informed and conscious generation.
